If you’ve been a customer of ours for a while, you might already know that Mikko has been delivering incredible European shoes for a decade now – in fact, we officially celebrated our 10th year in business just recently!

It’s not lost on us as to how special it is that we are still here, being able to do what we love – which is to source beautiful (and comfortable!) footwear in Europe and bring them to New Zealand women to enjoy.

When we launched Mikko in 2013, that was our dream vision – to offer stylish, impeccably-made footwear and bags that would stand the test of time. Now with five stores, countless lovely customers and wonderful relationships made along the way, we are beyond thrilled to be adding a brand new offering to the mix – Mikko Men’s!

Since day one, we have provided thoughtfully curated collections with the New Zealand woman in mind, and almost since that very first day, we’ve heard the repeated feedback that there is nothing out there for men that compares to the service, breadth of styles and distinct quality on offer at Mikko.

We’ve been wanting to do something about this for a very long time, and after a lot of planning, buying, and hard work behind the scenes, we now have.

Just like our women’s offering, Mikko Men’s prioritises authentic craftsmanship, superior design, and the latest innovation. We hand-pick seasonal styles from artisan brands that we consider the best in the world.

As the only dedicated men’s mixed-brand footwear store in the country, Mikko Men’s offers a curation of international footwear brands, reflecting the sense of community and values that we share with our heritage shoe makers – for the contemporary man who values quality, sophistication, and long-wearing comfort from their footwear.

Just like our women’s locations, the Mikko Men’s store is ultra-relaxed, with friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable team members who are as passionate as ever about helping customers to find the perfect fit.

Our flagship men’s store is located in Christchurch, right next door to our women’s store - and stay tuned for new locations that will be coming in future!
